Think of your story as a roller coaster ride you are taking your readers on. You want the ride to be filled with twists and turns and you want the reader to experience a wild descent. Don't make the ride so long your readers get sick and make sure to bring them back up after the fall.
This blog is about making lemonade. Will your reader feel uplifted after they've read your story? Captivate your readers but don't bore them. When they leave the ride, hopefully they will want to come back for more.
